Draft Capital

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

Draft Capital is a free financial newsletter. The only thing we ask you for is an email address, and this page explains exactly what happens to it — what we collect, why we collect it, who else touches it, and how you get rid of us.

01Who we are

This policy covers draftcapitalfinancial.com and the Draft Capital email newsletter (together, the “Service”). “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Draft Capital. Draft Capital is published as an editorial product and is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial institution.

If you have a question about this policy or want to exercise any right described below, email support@draftcapitalfinancial.com.

02What we collect

We collect two kinds of information: what you hand us, and what your browser hands us automatically.

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

We do not ask for, and have no use for, your name, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, government identifiers, brokerage account details, or any financial account information. Please don't send them to us.

03Storage on your device

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or CAPTCHA services on this site. We use your browser's own storage for one narrow purpose:

You can clear this storage at any time in your browser settings. Clearing it does not affect your subscription.

04Why we use it

PurposeWhat it covers
Deliver the newsletterSend you the issues you asked for and any service messages about your subscription.
Measure what worksUnderstand which pages, campaigns, and partners bring in readers, and which issues get read.
Prevent abuseBlock bot signups, fake addresses, and list-bombing using a hidden honeypot field, a submission token, and basic timing checks.
Fund the newsletterSelect which advertisers and sponsored placements appear in issues, based on aggregate readership — not on your individual identity.
Meet legal dutiesKeep the records we're required to keep and respond to lawful requests.

Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, ours is your consent (subscribing) and our legitimate interest in running and protecting a newsletter you asked to receive.

05Who else touches your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade our subscriber list. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes above:

We may also disclose information if we're legally required to, if we need to protect our rights or someone's safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business — in which case this policy travels with the data.

Advertisers and sponsors. Draft Capital carries advertising, affiliate promotions, and sponsored placements. Advertisers receive aggregate performance data — opens, clicks, totals. They do not receive your email address from us. If you click a sponsor's link and then give that company your information on their own site, that transaction is between you and them, and their privacy policy governs it.

06How long we keep it

We keep your email address and subscription record for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal suppression record — essentially your address on a do-not-send list — so that we don't accidentally email you again. Signup metadata and engagement history are retained for up to 24 months for reporting, then deleted or aggregated. You can ask us to delete everything; see below.

07Your choices and rights

Unsubscribing is the fastest control. Every issue has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and the sending stops. You do not need to email us or give a reason.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:

To exercise any of them, email support@draftcapitalfinancial.com from the address you subscribed with. We'll respond within the time the applicable law allows — generally 30 to 45 days. We may need to verify that the request really comes from you before we act on it.

08Security

We use reputable providers, restrict access to subscriber data to people who need it, and serve this site over HTTPS. That said, no method of transmission or storage on the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. Because we deliberately collect so little — an email address and some campaign metadata — the consequences of a breach are correspondingly limited.

09Children

The Service is meant for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has subscribed, email us and we'll remove the record.

10Where your data is processed

We operate in the United States, and our service providers process and store data in the United States. If you subscribe from outside the U.S., you're sending your information to the U.S., where privacy law differs from your own. Subscribing means you're comfortable with that.

11Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change, and we'll move the “last updated” date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we'll say so in an issue of the newsletter. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
